When we come to work it’s with our vision in mind: To develop natural and sustainable, plant-based meat substitutes, reducing land use, food miles, and the production of CO2 through innovative farming methods.

    With 25 years of experience in business development, turnaround strategies, and P&L leadership across SMEs and global food businesses, I am passionate about future foods, food security, and environmentalism.

    Leading the Myco team is a dream come true, as we strive to develop a business that delivers sustainable food solutions for the future.

    I’m neither vegan nor flexitarian, but I am environmentally conscious about food choices. I firmly believe we can positively impact the world by creating greener, healthier foods that still taste amazing.

    With over 25 years of international operational project management experience, I oversee all food and vertical farming operations. I’m passionate about the journey our natural mushrooms take—from our in-house farm to becoming delicious products, all under one roof

    With over 30 years in sales (17 in the food & drink) sector, I came out of retirement to enhance our Hooba range of products to all sectors of the Plant-based market. Working with such a close-knit team and seeing the company grow is a pleasure.

    Having worked in the Electronical measurement sector for several years which involved working with Per Lindstrand and Richard Branson on their attempt to fly around the world was the height of excitement!

    I’m a qualified accountant with a background in food manufacturing, and what excites me most about my role at Myco Foods is being part of a company with a positive impact and a compelling mission. Outside of work, I cycle 5,000 miles a year and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Yorkshire Dales, where I live—making each ride feel like an adventure. Success is not just about what you achieve, but the positive impact you make along the way.

    Experienced Technical Manager and Quality Systems Manager with demonstrated history of working in raw meats, ambient and chilled RTE food production environments. Strong Technical professional skilled in setting Quality Management Systems, maintenance of 3rd party and retailer accreditation, Production and Hygiene documentation.

    Outside of working hours am known for my passion for cars 🙂 Working for such an innovative Company and being a part of Myco Foods Story means a lot to me.

    Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud space nerd with a particular fascination for the moon and all its mysteries.

    I am a brand and comms expert with over a decade of experience in PR and marketing for a range of clients. I love working with Myco because they’re forward thinking, creative, and they want to change the world with their mouthwatering and sustainable food. Outside of work I write dystopian sci fi novels, listen to grungey indie music from the 90s and go on long forest walks. My favourite quote: “You’re a ghost driving a meat coated skeleton made from stardust. What do you have to be afraid of?”
